Language
The official language is the Spanish, in valleys is spoken quechua and in the plateau it will aymará, in level the several tupiguaraníticos languages like guarayo, chiquitano, zamuco, moxeno and guaraní between most important.

Religion
The catholicism is predominant, also other confessions stay and in some regions very old religious customs and some they are practiced together in an amalgam of religions.

Economy
The mining continues being important for the Bolivian development that along with the hydrocarbons, the precious wood and agriculture are the props of the Bolivian economy. The manufactured industry represents only 10 % of the GIP. The main countries with which Bolivia commercializes are Argentina, Brazil and the United States. With a policy of opening with the countries of the Américas, Europe and Asia. Bolivia belongs to the Andean Pact (next to Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela) and is member associated to the Mercosur (Brazil-Argentina-Paraguay).

Transport
Bolivia has about 45,000 km of highway of which only 15% are paved. In many zones it is possible to journey solely in the dry station. Also it counts on approximately 3,700 km of iron channels, with the railroads La Paz - Antofagasta (Chile), Santa Cruz - Corumba (Brazil) and Santa Cruz - Yacuiba in the border with Argentina.

Artesania
According to the region and culture the crafts different and is specialized, although it is possible to be divided in three, of the plateau, the valleys and of the level ones. With cotton spinnings, it calls, gold alpaca, vicuna and others, jewelry shop, silver and pewter, worked in wood of oak, mara, cedar, guayacán, verdolago and others. Electricity
The electricity is of 220 volts in all the country, except in some remote cities and partly of the city of La Paz where it is of 110 volts.

Currency
The Bolivian, is the monetary unit symbolized by Bs. The American dollar, traveler's checks and credit cards, VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, MASTERCARD, are accepted in almost all the establishments of the main cities.
